China leading solar cell and module manufacturer, Talesun Solar, announce recently that the company signed an agreement through internet with top Singapore home-grown Solar Independent Power Producer (IPP), LYS Energy Group, for future solar PV project development in Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) regions.

As a leading PV module manufacturer and solution provider, Talesun not only provides high quality solar photovoltaic (PV) module, but also contributes in solar PV projects development, EPC business and operation and maintenance (O&M) management. The company acquired a series of qualifications and certificates for project design, construction management, and other aspects for the core business of EPC and O&M.

With innovative technology of renewable energy power solutions, Talesun extensively participated in development and EPC business of solar PV projects in various regions of the world. In 2019, Talesun successfully finished the largest solar PV power station of South America, the 315 MW Cauchari PV plant which locates in Cauchari area of Jujuy Province, Argentina. In 2018, together with A2A, the largest Italian power and gas plant provider, Talesun helped to develop total 300 MW of market parity solar PV stations in Italy. And in 2019, A2A has signed a deal to buy a 1 GW solar development pipeline from Talesun again, as part of its push to start building subsidy-free solar projects.

In mainland China, Europe and America, Talesun focus on utility PV station development and planned for 2-3 GW total in next three years. In Japan and ASEAN countries, Talesun concentrated in developing distributed PV and EPC business of PV station. The company aims 200 MW every year.

The agreement, remotely signed via online ceremony due to current global COVID-19 outbreak, includes?30MWp of distributed solar PV projects development in several other ASEAN countries in future. The first phase project located in LongAn Province, Vietnam will be executed in H2, 2020.

The projects in LongAn province, according to Talesun, will be a series of C&I rooftop distributed PV projects for self-consumption to the agreement. Talesun will be in charge of the EPC of these distributed PV projects and LYS Energy Group will finance the project and be responsible of the operation and maintenance of the rooftop solar PV systems within the contract lifetime. .
